Arrangements examines ordinary public spaces where people, objects, infrastructure and landscape slip into uncertain relationships. Working unstaged, I photograph moments that initially appear straightforward but become stranger through looking, allowing small gestures, misreadings and coincidences to remain embedded within the larger scene. I am interested in how attention can destabilize the familiar, how a figure, object or seemingly incidental detail can shift the meaning of an entire photograph. Through colour, distance and precise framing, the work moves between humour, awkwardness and ambiguity, asking the viewer to notice what might otherwise pass unseen.
